Prequalification Information

During the Design and Construction phase, Design-Builder Gilbane will offer both multiple bidding opportunities per trade package as well as a variety of size and complexity per trade packages.

In order to qualify with Gilbane, you will need to provide the following:

Register in Compass and complete the 1Form at Compass by Bespoke Metrics.

Please note that Compass request Subcontractors/Vendors/Suppliers to complete the entire 1Form.

Gilbane requires the following:

  • Business Section: Upload a CURRENT W-9, signed, and dated 2023. If your firm is a DBA, please add the firm to line two (2) of the W-9.

  • Financial Section: Upload a CURRENT sample ACORD Certificate of Insurance to include General and Excess Liability, Automobile and Workers Compensation. (To view the COI, you must authorize Gilbane to view the financials. COI is uploaded under the financial section.)

  • Financial Section: Upload your CURRENT FYE 2022 CPA (compiled/reviewed/audited) financials, including notes. A draft of your CPA financials is acceptable. If you don’t have CPA financials, please upload your CURRENT FYE 2022 ACCRUAL basis Balance Sheet and Income Statement/Statement of Operations (P&L).

  • Health and Safety Section: Upload your CURRENT year of Experience Modification Rating (EMR) confirmation from your insurance Agent. If EMR does not apply, please have your Agent provide an explanation letter.

  • Once all documents are uploaded, click the SUBMIT tab located on "1Form Qualification Page."  Check that you acknowledge and submit all information is accurate and complete. No documents are visible to Gilbane until you SUBMIT. 

  • Authorize GCS: Final step, select Gilbane to view your financial data and click "Authorize Selected" located at the bottom right corner.
